About Me

The very first book ever read to me was when I was three months old.

Ever since then, I've been hooked on stories that help me look beyond the physical world and enter the realm of possibility; a place anything can happen. I love being able to dive into a fantastical world completely, and it was that feeling that made me want to help others experience it too.

Poetry is another passion of mine. I love to write long, lyrical poems that make people question ordinary things; and look beyond what we conceive as normal.

I like my poetry to have an alluring air around it that makes it stay in the minds of readers.

Art is another one of my hobbies. I paint and draw when I have free time, and I particularly like using pencils and mixed media for landscapes, sceneries, and sometimes animal still-life.

BACKGROUND:

I came to New Zealand from India when I was 11 years old. Before that, I used to travel around the world with my parents during school holidays, and I think the diverse sceneries and cultures I've witnessed have affected my writing style. Besides visiting various states in my homeland (India), I also travelled to Australia, Mauritius, Thailand, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Dubai.

Experiencing the multicultural blend of people with different backgrounds, values and experiences influenced the diverse viewpoints and representations that pop up in my writing.
